Rock Revolution Magazine
This began as an assignment for layout design, but I have always loved to tie together music and design, and so this was the perfect project for me to continue on. Any concert I go to, I take pictures of the guitarists of the bands, and I turn them into fun little projects for me with Rock Revolution Magazine!
APRIL 2024
Steel Panther
This is the original cover for Rock Revolution. A lot of the fun part of this magazine is coming up with the "articles" that you would find within. There are many puns and nods to the bands that are featured within.
MAY 2024
Joe Satriani/Steve Vai
This was a super-fun show featuring two guitarists that I never thought I'd get to see live. A lot of my guitar playing is inspired by Joe Satriani, and so it was an amazing feeling to see him playing not even 10 feet from me.
JUNE 2024
CHRONOS
CHRONOS is a project I took on in the Summer of 2024. I made up a logo, a couple album covers, a tour poster, and a Rock Revolution Magazine cover. Note: CHRONOS is not a real band, but it was still super fun to make!
AUGUST 2024
Ice Nine Kills
Did not get to see any live bands in July, but I think the wait was worth it for this show! Very entertaining stage performance, especially by the "extras". This band screams horror, and so why not make a "Bloody Edition" to Rock Revolution?
